TEF12 - Sealed in the Midst of the Storm by Daniel Yordy

Chris Welch writes : As much as I would like to present this message in as slick a fashion as possible there are some who will be put off by Daniel's delivery in the reading of this post. But it's possible for us not to see the wood for the trees. You've heard the oft quoted phrase from the eighties, particularly in a business context, but also very much sadly in a faith and church context....Fake it until you make it.
Put on a gloss front, shine up the illusion, hype up the hype, and hope that en route something becomes real.
Satan lured us with appearances, and "rumours" of lack in Genesis 3. The way back is Daniel's message here. Begin where you are to acknowledge that right now Christ is as us, the One who fills all in all in us who believe. Daniel is the message. Right now, with nothing but Asbergers, Daniel is reading the Truth of Christ as it is now, not when everything is OK, and a silky smooth Hollywood actor voice is speaking....but as things are now. For many this simply isn't good enough....but don't be fooled, there is anointing here, and this really is how the third level is birthed.

Daniel writes about this post:
Do we weep over the limitation of Christ? I have wept over the limitation of Christ for many years and now more than ever. -- Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth. -- even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. . . Likewise the Spirit also. . . makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. -- It's all the same word. It's all a groaning over the limitation of Christ and over the elimination of death. We cannot invent this groaning, but we can give ourselves to it, knowing it is God in us.

The desire to bring the prophetic word of Christ under the control of the intellect of man is overwhelming in many. Many labor over these things in Revelation without end, including the History Channel. The problem is not knowledge or intelligence. The problem is a lack of knowledge and limited intelligence.

God gives understanding; more than that, there is nothing in the Bible that God does not intend for us to know, to understand, and to reveal. God does not play games with us; He does not speak without purpose. The Logos is pure logic as well as inexorable kindness.

But only those who are blind will ever see, and only those who are ignorant will ever know.

Jesus answered and said to them, “Even if I bear witness of Myself, My witness is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going; but you do not know where I come from and where I am going. You judge according to the flesh; I judge no one. And yet if I do judge, My judgment is true; for I am not alone, but I am with the Father who sent Me. John 8:14-16

To judge “according to the flesh” is not to judge by evil, but by gross ignorance. And to pass judgment based on ignorance is evil because it is always unjust. Judgment by ignorance will always punish the innocent and allow the forceful to go free. Because Jesus sees all things through the Father, He would judge rightly, if He judged. But because He does see all things, He does not judge.

The modern mind judges all things by ignorance. “If I do not know a thing, that thing does not exist.” Two hundred years ago, ugly little bugs in your eyebrows, munching on your dying flesh did not exist. All the “intelligence” of the day would have mocked you to scorn if you had said, “But they do exist, I saw them through a high-powered microscope.” People two hundred years from now will know as common and familiar many things that “do not exist” today, according to the mocking scorn of present human “intelligence.”

How can we see the millions of ugly little bugs munching away inside our eyebrows? We must have the right lens to look through. How can we see heavenly reality? We must have the right eyes to look through.

There is a very simple reason why we don't see heaven all around us, heaven in which we live right now all the time. We are blind – but no longer, now we have seven real eyes, seven eyes of fire.

Intelligence versus stupidity is not related to level of IQ. I picture two young men I taught in the public school. One had an IQ, let's say, of 74 (he was a special ed boy), the other, say, 165, way above mine. Both of these young men were intelligent, that is, they were meek and lowly of heart; saying, “I don't know,” came easily to them. Both were studious, young men of integrity. I held it an honor that both of them regarded me as “teacher.” Conversely, I am amazed at how some highly educated college professors can be so stupid. They think they know, thus they judge all things by their ignorance.

Adam had an IQ likely as high as 2000, and he was pretty dumb.

What are the seals and the trumpets in Revelation? I don't know. And I will not know unless I see out through the right lens, that is, through eyes of fire. But what I will not do is pretend knowledge by the force of intellect. I do know what the seventh trumpet is, because Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 15.

Some of these things may well be unusual events, but others are common and ordinary. Nuclear radiation pollution is common and ordinary since 1945, yet steadily mounting. The Russian name, Chernobyl, the site of the first big nuclear disaster, means “wormwood.” Radiation from Fukishima fills the North Pacific and continues to stream into the atmosphere without slowing down. It “doesn't exist,” of course, because the television news does not report it. Genetically engineered crops are proving more and more to be a horrific scourge, yet you eat them every day, unless you make a severe effort not to. (One of the most important things to obliterate from your diet is drinking genetically engineered corn syrup, though drinking aspartame is worse.)

We have become so used to microwave towers everywhere; we love the cell phone connections they provide. Yet the right frequencies sent through them can drop everyone to the ground in an instant, in agonizing pain. The right frequencies can alter the thoughts in people's minds.

Some don't want the evil to be caused to cease; I do. I would see my grandchildren born into a world of joy.

Everyone is looking for Superman and Dracula. The ages will change, the folly of man will cease, the glory of the Lord will cover the earth, and neither Superman nor Dracula will ever be.

Christ is common, ordinary, and familiar, the fellow sitting next to you at church. Evil is common, ordinary, and familiar, been there, done that.

God is so different from what people think.

There is no question in my mind that the greatest storm to hit humanity on this earth since the time of Noah is upon us. Yet month after month and year after year goes by, and it seems the storm is yet held back. With each passing day that storm looms higher than we have ever considered, yet it remains, for today, held back.

Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, saying, “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.” Revelation 7:2-3

The storm is real, but we do not concern ourselves overly much about the storm, except to understand it and not be taken unawares as people in Noah's day were. Our concern is this thing God does in the midst of the storm, the sealing of our minds by the finger of God.

Sealed in the midst of the storm.

This is the final piece in the foundation before we consider the prophetic Word of Christ, asking the Father to enable us to see as He sees, to see its fulfillment in fullness through our mouths, here, upon this planet.

Be transformed by the renewing of your mind. . . Romans 12:2

People do two things to this word of sealing in Revelation 7; they deify it on the one hand and Judaize it on the other. They cannot see that it's just the gospel in another form, the promise that God fulfills what He says in our lives on this earth.

There is not and never has been a “Gentile church.” The assemblies of the New Testament were the House of Israel in a new form; the New Covenant is with the House of Israel. The fact that we who were formerly Gentiles were put to death by God upon the cross of Christ, and were added into that House, contrary to nature, as we came alive in the resurrection, is just the goodness of God. But all Jews also died upon that cross, and so in Christ there is one new man only. That new man is Christ.

Any reference to the tribes of Israel is a reference only to Christ. We live in Him, and everything Christ is lives in us. Those sealed tribes in all that they mean fill me full. Some people get excited about numbers, 144,000 or 12,000. I know God speaks through such things, that's why they're in the Word of Christ. But intellectual definitions never bring forth life. I don't want to know; I want to live.

Let's start with Ezekiel. Many different times over the years, I have read – drank – of Ezekiel Chapters 1-10 in a great angst of spirit. I had no real idea what anything meant, nor did I try to have any idea. But I knew there was a prophetic Word of Christ in those chapters that pertained directly to me and to my life on this planet, and I would read them in the groaning and travail of the Spirit.

My website is titled “The Fulfillment of the New Covenant.” That's something few Christians believe in, but to fulfill the terms of the New Covenant is to cause the age of human folly and all things waxing cruel in the darkness to cease. If we want to know Christ in all that He is in us, than we are the cause of the storm.

Let's bring in all of Ezekiel 9.

Then He called out in my hearing with a loud voice, saying, “Let those who have charge over the city draw near, each with a deadly weapon in his hand.” And suddenly six men came from the direction of the upper gate, which faces north, each with his battle-ax in his hand. One man among them was clothed with linen and had a writer’s inkhorn at his side. They went in and stood beside the bronze altar.

Now the glory of the God of Israel had gone up from the cherub, where it had been, to the threshold of the temple. And He called to the man clothed with linen, who had the writer’s inkhorn at his side; and the Lord said to him, “Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it.”

“Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.” Revelation 7:2-3

To the others He said in my hearing, “Go after him through the city and kill; do not let your eye spare, nor have any pity. Utterly slay old and young men, maidens and little children and women; but do not come near anyone on whom is the mark; and begin at My sanctuary.” So they began with the elders who were before the temple. Then He said to them, “Defile the temple, and fill the courts with the slain. Go out!” And they went out and killed in the city.

So it was, that while they were killing them, I was left alone; and I fell on my face and cried out, and said, “Ah, Lord God! Will You destroy all the remnant of Israel in pouring out Your fury on Jerusalem?”

Then He said to me, “The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great, and the land is full of bloodshed, and the city full of perversity; for they say, ‘The Lord has forsaken the land, and the Lord does not see!’ And as for Me also, My eye will neither spare, nor will I have pity, but I will recompense their deeds on their own head.”

Just then, the man clothed with linen, who had the inkhorn at his side, reported back and said, “I have done as You commanded me.”

The God who fills us full is Love. An essential part of Love is Wrath. At times, Wrath must be the vanguard of Love. You and I are filled with all the fullness of Wrath; the second witness of Christ is clothed with sackcloth.

You cannot set people free without striking their chains. You cannot heal without causing the violent and abusive to cease. I am not speaking of the weapons of this world, but of judgment flowing out of Spirit. At the same time, the hatred against “other” people that we see growing in our Christian brethren and their cheering support of military violence, is one of the very saddest of realities in our day. They do not know the Christ who lays down His life, carrying even His enemies all the way into life.

Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead; Lazarus was very likely one of the 120 in the upper room on the day of Pentecost. But the killer still took Lazarus out, even after the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead filled Lazarus' body for many years. Raising people from the dead is not enough; we must take out death.

We know what the seventh trumpet is, the defeat of death.

“Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it.”

Do we weep over the limitation of Christ?

I have wept over the limitation of Christ for many years and now more than ever.

Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth. Revelation 12:2

For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. . . Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Romans 8:22-26

The God who fills us full is Love. An essential part of Love is Wrath. At times, Wrath must be the vanguard of Love. You and I are filled with all the fullness of Wrath; the second witness of Christ is clothed with sackcloth.

It's all the same word. It's all a groaning over the limitation of Christ and over the elimination of death.

We cannot invent this groaning, but we can give ourselves to it, knowing it is God in us.

People write to me sharing how they are just unable to fit into all the “Christian” stuff with which they were once familiar. Some find what their hearts groan for partly through what I write. That groaning is part of the sealing; it is the groaners who are sealed, the ones who bless all these dear Christians, but who know something is missing.

In contrast there are others who see wrong and error in brethren all around them who do not groan in that way, but who speak judgment against others whom Jesus carries. I have had some of those sign up for my letter and try to send me stuff that spoke judgment against precious leaders of God's people, men I know and love, men placed by Jesus where He wants them in His body. I do not judge these judgers either; I am not wise enough, but I do know that I want to run as far and as fast from the judgers as I can. The absence of the fear of God frightens me.

To speak against other believers is to speak against the Holy Spirit, not something we want to do.

All judgers commit the iniquity they judge worse than those they judge. It's a simple law of human psychology that proves itself true every time. Those who cry “Deception,” are among the most deceived people in Christendom; they know it not. If they truly feared God, they would not be caught in that contradiction.

Our groaning is the opposite of religious judgment; it is a groaning over the limitation of Christ, both in us and in others, it is a groaning to life, a groaning that carries all upon the Mercy Seat.

We tremble when He speaks; God is in our mouth.

I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name. Revelation 3:12

His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. Revelation 19:12-13

They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. Revelation 22:4

As I shared earlier, it is a mistake to see the vision of John as a chronology. Certainly there are things that happen before or after other things. The problem is faith. Whatever of Christ we think does not belong to us NOW, in the today of Salvation, we will not believe.

Now, what if we were walking along one day, minding our own business, being good Christians in all that we know, and KABAM!, God wrote His name upon our minds in a way that instantly altered our entire way of being?

If it happened that way, we would be utterly in SIN.

Whatever is not of faith is sin; without faith it is impossible to please God.

No one will ever know anything of God unless they believe against the sight of their eyes and against the judgment of their “self,” that God speaks the truth. That is the whole purpose of the accuser in the story in the first place, so that we could enter in by faith. There is no other path up the tree of life.

Adam needed the accuser to press against his way so that he could possess the tree of life AGAINST all things wailing against him, that is, by faith.

Look at the words, “I wish God would change me; I wish God would write His name upon my forehead.” They sound really good, don't they? There is a reality underneath these words that is good, yes. The words show us that the person has drawn near to the tree of life. But when we take the psychology of these words apart, we find that they are the sin and rebellion of Adam, steps away from the tree of life.

What are these words really saying? “God, I hate the way You made me (I am surely not like Christ). God, there is curse upon my forehead.”

The lie and the curse.

At the end of my last letter, I stated the lie and the curse more clearly than I have ever known. Let me repeat that here. The lie said that Christ is not our life; the curse said that we have a life not His.

The lie said that Christ is not our life; the curse said that we have a life not His.

We do not know the lie; we do not regard the curse. Christ is our life; we have no other life.

The Word is in your mouth, this Word of Faith that we speak.

The name, “My God,” is written upon my forehead right there inside the name, “New Jerusalem,” the city of God. Written alongside “My God” is Jesus' new name as well; Jesus' new name is written on my forehead. My eyes are like a flame of fire, and on my head are many crowns. No one else knows this new name of Jesus written upon me. I am clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and my name is “The Word of God.” I am His face, and His name is on my forehead.

Is this true or not? Is Christ maybe someday, or is Salvation today?

Do we enter in by faith, or do we wait for sight first? Do we believe only after we see?

The truth is – the only thing we will ever see is what we believe to be true first. All see what they believe, never the other way around.

Yet our faith is not wayward, believing anything and everything. Faith is specific to the Word God speaks. We believe that Christ is our only life.

Whatever is not of faith is sin; without faith it is impossible to please God.
No one will ever know anything of God unless they believe against the sight of their eyes and against the judgment of their “self,” that God speaks the truth.

Will the accuser rail against you if you speak what God speaks as if it is already true? Of course he will, just like he railed against Adam, just like he railed against Jesus. The dragon stands before the woman to devour her child. It's the center of God's story and the only way by which we are led to life.

The whole point of everything is found at the juncture of the Word God speaks, the face of the serpent, and a woman in travail. This is what it's all about, this whole story God has written boils down to this one point, this point where we find ourselves right now.

The Word God speaks is Christ, our only life, coming now out of our mouth and carried by the Lamb. The face of the serpent is every voice in heaven and earth, every evidence of outward sight, wailing against the reality that God tells us the truth – that we are filled with God. And the woman in travail IS the groaning we have known, a groaning that only increases inside the wondrous rest we have found in Christ, a groaning, not for achievement but for release, a groaning over all limitation of Christ, all ignorance of His glory, a groaning that God would know all His Desire, that God would possess all the joy of His dream.

“Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.” Revelation 7:3

Jesus' command to us to ask is so very important. You see, God is true; the problem is entirely our perception. And our perception is why the mind is at the center of God's present work and why it must be sealed.

When we were born again, God altered our spirit, made it new and incorruptible, entirely alive in Him, and thus, He also altered our standing with Him, from enemy to friend. Then, when Jesus immersed us fully into the Holy Spirit, God began to alter our souls, our psyches. The fullness of Tabernacles is when God alters our bodies, conforming them to Jesus' glorious body. Altering our spirit and altering our body happens in a flash, in the twinkle of an eye. But altering our psyche takes time, it is called sanctification, the salvation of our souls.

The reason God takes time to alter our psyches is that He is kind. We are very psychological beings, and when I say psychological, I don't meant intellectual only, though intellect plays a large part in our psyche. Psyche is every part of perception and consciousness. Of truth, most of the work God does in our souls over many years is to win our hearts. God wins our hearts first, then He tackles our minds.

Don't labor over the question of whether God has won your heart or not. If God has not won your heart you are not reading this and you simply don't care. God has won your heart; it is His dwelling place. Any “work” He does upon your heart now is simply to prove to you that He does possess all of your heart.

God proves to us that He does possess our hearts as the first part of sealing us in our minds.

If God moved too fast in altering our psyches, we would break. We simply could not handle the alteration. More than that, the real thing God is after in altering our perception is never what we think, it is always something we just had no idea of before He gives us a new way of seeing.

As we realize with all joy that God has indeed won our hearts, we realize that He has so changed our minds as well. A won heart is a heart that says, out loud through the mouth, “I am chosen of God, I am called, I am faithful. I am with my Lord in all the revelation of His glory; I am found nowhere else.” Why do we say that? Because for a won heart, there is no other possibility, no other consideration.

Jesus commanded us to ask for the sake of our psyches. God says something really big, like “sealed in their foreheads.” We think, is that really for me, is that really something of Christ in me? We may say, “Yes, that's me,” when we are feeling good, but when we're feeling not so good, other thoughts crowd in.

And so Jesus said, “Ask.” But asking is only the first part; asking by itself does not do it for our psyche, our consciousness, our perception of reality. Thus Jesus also commanded us, “Believe that you have received already ALL that you ask.” That way, when the accuser comes at you, especially through the face of Eve, that is, other Christians, you can say, “Hey, I'm just doing what Jesus told me to do. He said to believe that I have already fully received all that I ask, so I'm just following orders.”

Don't labor over the question of whether God has won your heart or not. If God has not won your heart you are not reading this and you simply don't care.

Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Ephesians 6:13

What does it mean to be sealed in the forehead?

To be sealed in the forehead is to perceive all reality as it really is, seeing from the throne, out through eyes of fire, through the Spirit of God. It is to see that all that God speaks concerning Christ our only life is all that exists in us and as us and through us. It is to see all things out from the consciousness of the Word of Christ alone, every particular, every circumstance that comes to us upon our path. And yet, to see it all by faith, while remaining blind as a present human.

This is not big things; this is little things, the common, ordinary things of everyday life. The big things will simply follow in their time. Let's ask.

“Father, You say in Your word that I am transformed by the renewing of my mind. You say that You write Your name, the very New Name of Christ upon my forehead; You speak of my being sealed in my forehead before the storm hits. Father, You are speaking of the gospel of Christ; You are speaking of the Cup that turned to Joy in Jesus' heart. Father, Your word is Your will for me. I ask according to Your will.

“Father, I ask You to write Your name, 'God,' upon my forehead as the visible evidence that I am filled with all the fulness of God, according to the gospel. Father, I ask You to write Jesus' new name upon my forehead in all that you mean by Your metaphor, as the proof that Christ is indeed my only life. Father, I ask that You write the words, 'New Jerusalem,' upon my mind, as the sign of Your Spirit flowing out from me as rivers of living water.

“Father, I ask You to seal my mind utterly in You, that I am no longer susceptible to any thought, any vibration, any energy that is not flowing out of You through me. Father, I ask that, from here on through, I will see all things through seven eyes of Fire, through the lens of Your Spirit, that I will walk knowing as You know and seeing as You see.

“And Father, having asked according to Your will, I keep the Word Jesus spoke. I believe that You have given me, that I have received in all fullness all that I have asked.

“Thank you, Father, that Your name is there, in neon lights, upon my forehead. I will never again be conscious of any other name. Thank you, Father, that Jesus' new name, the name of the victorious, ascended Christ, covers my forehead, my face, my whole body. Thank you, Father, that my mind and forehead are utterly sealed into you, that I have the mind of Christ. Thank you, Father, that I am Your Jerusalem, the city of David, and that Life is always flowing out from me.

“Thank you, Father, that I see all things through eyes of Fire, through Your eyes. Thank you, Father, that my judgment is true, for I am never alone, but I see always through You, who always fills me full.

“And Father, I know You, that You always do way more than I ask, or even can imagine. I know that all these things are true of me, now and forever.”

Do you see how asking removes all question and doubt. Someone may say, “But, but, but!!!” And we say, “Hey, I'm just being obedient to Jesus. Since God's word is His will, I'm just believing that I have already received all that I have asked. I call those things that “be not” as though they are.”

That is, of course, the prophetic Word of Christ; it is the only witness that is real.

Now, having asked, and having believed that we have what we ask, the thought “I wish God would seal my mind,” no longer comes into view. We could pray this prayer of faith every morning, reaffirming in our own hearts and minds the certainty of what we speak, but never do we “hope” that “maybe someday” it will happen.

Faith is specific to the Word God speaks. If there is no Word, there can be no faith, only unbelief, that is, believing going in all the wrong directions. But since we speak what God speaks concerning Christ our only life, we stand always upon an absolute Rock.

Faith is the proof of things that are not visible. If we could “see” it, there would be no faith, and we would remain in our sins. The just live by faith; the just call those things that “be not” as they are. Since we cannot “see” of what we speak, we are carried by the Wind of God.

Now here is what happens in the human psyche. The one who says, “I wish,” is sealed – seals himself – in “I wish” forever, or until God knocks him about the ears and wakes him up.

But the one who says, “I am what God speaks,” sees his mind change to fit this new way of seeing.

Through eyes of fire!

Human consciousness flows out of seeing. Our perception is governed by how we see. That is why the name of God, the new name given to Jesus, and the name of Jerusalem are written upon our forehead, as the covering, the government over, our seeing.

What is the name of God? “That you might be filled with all the fullness of God.”

What is Jesus' new name? “Christ is my only life, the Word God speaks, casting down all other voices.”

What is the name, New Jerusalem? “Out of his belly will flow rivers of living water.”

God filling me full, Christ, the One who casts down the accuser, living as me, and the Holy Spirit flowing out from me to all.

I am a man; I am a normal human being; I am the visible expression, the image of an invisible God.

God has won our hearts; our will belongs to Him. Faith is the junction of our will and our spirit. Faith holds the door wide open.

Our emotions are tied to our body. They go back and forth, sometimes reflecting the life flowing out of our spirit, sometimes reflecting the state of our mind, and sometimes reflecting what we had for dinner last night. We pay no attention to our emotions; they are not our guide for anything.

It is the mind, standing at the center, the doorkeeper of God's house, that changes slowly. Our perception is altered by what we speak or write.

There is one thing only that will change our minds: the prophetic Word of Christ.

God will not change your mind apart from you. If He did so, it would be separate from faith and thus sin.

Every human on this planet, in every condition or circumstance known by Adam's children, can do this one ability God granted to the human form. We can speak Christ. We can say, “Jesus, You are my only life.” And we can say those words against all other voices.

The Gadarene demoniac, under the horrific manipulation of 2000 different demons, though he could not use his own mouth or voice-box, yet he could still speak Christ with his feet. No demon could prevent him from coming to Jesus. Every step out from those tombs was a step of faith, a step of the prophetic Word of Christ spoken by a heart created for God.

The Word is in your mouth; speak Christ.

Those who speak Christ their only life are sealed in their minds; they are the second witness of Christ.
