We
may read all the books we want on the subject of TRUSTING GOD; we may
go to all the "meetings" all the time; AND GOD CAN USE ANY OF THESE >
OR HE MAY CHOOSE TO USE NONE OF THEM. EITHER WAY, when HE places the
desire in us to trust HIM with all our hearts, it is God Who is all the
while effectually at work in us [energizing and creating in us the
power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and
satisfaction and delight.
If our FATHER chooses to simply deposit within you the ability to TRUST HIM COMPLETELY with ALL YOUR HEART, then, my friend, I would say I am happy for you. For some of us, though, the ability to TRUST THE LORD, "with all"our hearts, has been a process HE is working IN us.
HE is establishing IN us THROUGH CHRIST an ability to TRUST HIM if/when we have no answers in the natural. Our confident reliance/dependence MUST be on HIM, and I believe this is ONLY accomplished in us by HIS Spirit.
WHEN GOD places the desire in us to TRUST HIM WITH ALL OUR HEART, AND LEAN NOT ON OUR OWN UNDERSTANDING, HE may choose to let us go through a situation [or, some, a life time] whereby nothing in the natural seems to "make sense", yet we hear in the depths of our being, "TRUST ME". It may "appear" that OUR world is "falling apart". YET GOD is STILL IN CONTROL, and as our LOVING FATHER, we can REST ASSURED that HE cares for us, as HIS children, WAY MORE than we could ever care for our own.
HE SEES the situation FAR CLEARER than we do. HE HAS A SOLUTION. HE IS THE SOLUTION. JESUS IS THE SOLUTION TO EVERY PROBLEM ANY ONE OF US MAY BE EXPERIENCING.
HIS "SUFFICIENT" GRACE is available for each one of us, my friends... Our Father is ONLY GOOD. HE is PRESENTLY at work IN US as the "FINISHER OF OUR FAITH"........
Each and every trial HE HAS BROUGHT US THROUGH has only made each of us more and more aware of HIS FAITHFULNESS.
OUR GOD IS WHOLLY TRUSTWORTHY, and we EACH experience opportunities in our lives to learn/accept this TRUTH. He wills that the TRUTH of HIS FAITHFULNESS be ESTABLISHED deep within us... BECOMING A PART OF US...
...As my WISE 94-yr-old mom always says to me, "Frances, God already knows what's going to happen, so why worry about it." [I sure do love you, Mom!!]
