An Apostle is...

An apostle is...
Someone who has been slowed down
To God speed.

An almond stick stripped

of all its unnecessary branches
so it can easily move into any situation and
Command the Word of the Lord.

A lightning conductor for God.

An apostle is....

Someone who speaks into being the House of the Lord
And what is the House of the Lord
But God come in the flesh

Tabernacling with man?

Jesus said of Peter
Upon this Rock

What Rock?
Peter was the first human being to catch and declare that here was God Himself come in the flesh.

The spirit of antichrist is described thus

1John 2:22-24
Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son. 23 Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father also. 24 As for you, let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father.

The apostolic Word is this:
Believe that Jesus is God in the flesh come from the Father, and you will have BOTH the SON and the Father dwelling in you and through you.

St Peter spent 3 and half years in Jesus' Light having various sins of action and attitude exposed. But it wasn't until his 3 denials that he finally saw SIN,
the root cause of all his sins,
the independent self delusion.
Facing this head on, on Galilee's shoreline, he became apostolic material. So it is today.

Peter is like us....
"We are like that child kicking ,screaming, punching it's parent while the parent holds it fast in a loving grip, and gradually the convulsive sobs subside into the realisation that whatever we do,whatever we find out about who we are....this is all part of that WAY to the TRUTH to the LIFE that Jesus was on about. That God loves us unconditionally. The issue then is this? Will we let those figleaves that we think hide our nakedness be removed, in order to be clothed properly and be found again in our right mind?"
