ESTHER’S MELCHISEDEK-CALLING by Ray and Sheila Knight

Est 2:7 And he brought up Hadassah, that is, Esther, his uncle's daughter: for she had neither father nor mother, (thus fitting the Melchisedec pattern … see Hebrews 7:3…which reveals the disposition, character and calling to lay down one’s life for another) and the maid was fair and beautiful; whom Mordecai, when her father and mother were dead, took for his own daughter.

(Esther, in the biblical sense, was adopted (more in J.A.T. No.414). As we identify with Esther and our ‘Melchisedec destiny’, it requires that we do not allow the constant demands and expectations of close family to deter us from our vision of seeing the Kingdom of God come forth in every man. If they are not supportive, it is like they were ‘dead’. Forsaking father and mother (etc.) does not mean turning off one’s compassion from family, it simply means that their influence is no longer in ‘first place’!

God will give the necessary wisdom and there will be no compromise! If you are apprehended by God and He says ‘go’ then you cannot help but go.

Loyalty to family
or a ministry

or a fellowship
is superseded by love for Father-God and therefore love for His plan for His kingdom … obedience at the ‘individual knowing level’. (Esther 2:14) …

.....who knoweth whether thou (“Esther”) art come to the kingdom for such a time as this? Who knows if YOU are? Actually you do!

What a super testimony from our ‘Esther pattern’: apprehended for the throne and thus progressively experiencing being JOINT HEIRS with Christ-Jesus.
